'Favela II'

Bright silhouettes describe daily life in a favela, the informal neighborhoods around Brazilian cities. Working in the verdant hues of tropical forests and the warm colors of the sun, David da Costa creates a lovely composition. Its bright geometry is achieved through serigraphy, or the silk screen technique, precisely printed on Canson paper.
